Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to create two 20-page direct mailers for The Ridge, a brand focused on providing high-quality, sustainable products that inspire adventure and withstand the ups and downs of life. These direct mailers were designed to capture the essence of the brand, showcasing its focus on nature, adventure, and practicality.
FATHER’S DAY DIRECT MAIL
The first direct mailer I worked on for The Ridge was built around Father’s Day.
We wanted it to speak to all kinds of dads—tech-savvy, car lovers, outdoor types—without feeling generic. The challenge was finding the right mix of tone and imagery that could connect with a broad audience but still feel personal.
We used a blend of product and lifestyle photos, along with clear, punchy headlines. The focus was on showing how Ridge gear—backpacks, water bottles, everyday carry—could fit into different lives. Something practical, something solid, and a gift that actually made sense.

BLACK FRIDAY DIRECT MAIL
For Ridge’s Black Friday sale, I created a direct mailer designed to drive urgency and highlight limited-time offers.
The layout was bold and streamlined—high-impact product photography, minimal copy, and a clear call to action. The goal was to grab attention fast and guide the reader straight to the deal.
We focused on Ridge’s core products, emphasizing value without overloading the page. It was built to convert—simple, direct, and built around the moment.
